First of all.....Congratulations!

The Sorelli Ensemble understand how daunting a prospect it can be to arrange a wedding with all the added extras. For this reason we offer each of our clients a bespoke service when it comes to choosing their music. The right choice of live music can create a wonderful setting and we have a vast range of repertoire to help couples choose their preferred styles.

We realise that meetings can be hard to organise and for this reason are happy to meet couples via Skype should you wish to discuss ideas and put a face to our name! Click here for our contact details.

So... When should I have live music?

This is entirely up to each couple. Having classical music playing for the arrival of guests creates a relaxing and chic atmosphere whilst also providing an attractive visual aspect for everyone.

Perhaps there is a meaningful piece that you both share, or you would like to surprise your husband or wife-to-be with a special song to walk down the aisle to? We offer arrangements of pieces for £40 each and this often adds an extra special touch to a very personal moment.

Our Ceremony, Reception & Wedding Breakfast package is becoming more and more popular and sees us with you throughout your whole day. As our repertoire spans many different styles, we are able to provide the classical elegance for the start of your day and then switch to our more upbeat pieces for your reception, then back to our more lyrical music for your wedding breakfast.

Why should I choose the Sorelli Ensemble?

We love being asked to play for weddings and not least performing together with each other. I think that comes across as soon as you meet us! We add a personal touch to your day and pride ourselves on our friendliness and ability to connect with guests.

A duo can create a gentler atmosphere than a trio or a quartet and not overpower the intimacy of a wedding. A duo suits a smaller, more exclusive setting but can still carry its sound through a reception or a dinner. It still offers a wide-ranging repertoire but is easier to cater for than a larger ensemble. Whether you are having a small gathering of 40 or a larger guest count of 80, the Sorelli Ensemble can provide the perfect atmosphere for your day.

We consider it an honour to be asked to be a part of your day and always offer the highest quality of delivery and style in our performance. From contemporary to classical, we work with each of our clients to offer a personal service and create the right musical setting and ambience for the occasion.

How do I book the Sorelli Ensemble?

Once you have decided that you would like to make a booking, we send through our booking contract for you to complete and return along with a deposit to secure the date. We ask for full payment of the balance no later than 4 weeks prior to your event date.

Are you able to offer guidance on choosing our music?

Yes absolutely! This is a part that we enjoy very much. We offer a complimentary meeting at Soho Farmhouse with Julia to discuss your musical ideas. We can help as much as you need us to in the selection process and are happy to send you short soundbites if your choices aren't featured on our website. We do also offer complimentary musical consultations and performances via Skype or Facetime or at our clients' homes or venues (if within an hour's travel from our location). If this is preferred please contact us for a quote.

Do you charge extra for travel?

If your venue is within 45 minutes driving distance from us, this is included in our fees. For venues that are further afield we charge 47 pence for every extra mile driven.

When do you arrive at the venue on the day?

We always aim to be at our events an hour before the booking time (at no extra cost) so that we can meet with the wedding planner and the Registrar and warm up beforehand.

When do you take your breaks?

For our ceremony & reception package, we usually play from the arrival of guests to the end of the ceremony and then take a small break whilst guests make their way to the reception area. We then play during the reception for two 45 minute sets. However, this may be variable and sometimes the guests come and chat to us so we count this as a break and then continue playing!
