Alison (Violin) & Lorna (Cello)

Based in and near Bath, Alison and Lorna have performed at weddings and events since 2009. Both have played at a great number of venues including The Manor House at Castle Combe, Orchardleigh Estate, The Roman Baths, The Pump Rooms, Bailbrook House and Clevedon Hall to name a few.
Ali graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a BMus and MA in performance. She has played with ensembles such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, Philharmonia and BBC Philharmonic and the Pump Room Trio. She has performed Candlelight Concerts for Fever with the Allegrezza Quartet, played on Saga Cruises, is the leader of Bath Symphony Orchestra and has broadcast live on radio and television.
Lorna studied at The University of Manchester, Royal Academy of Music and The Royal Northern College of Music and graduated with BMus, MA and a diploma in string leadership. She has played with many professional orchestras including The Halle and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Ali and Lorna have been working together since 2013 within orchestral and chamber music settings. Together they are founding members of The Solsbury Hill Ensemble, Live Music Now artists.
